Lions Club of Sydney Nepal Himalaya (108758) - District 201N5 - AUSTRALIA It was established in 2009 by a group of young enthusiastic people from Nepalese background. The club was formed with a motive of serving needy of communities all around.But also to bring the like minded philanthropic beings of same background together with a sense of community within. Since the club has been chartered, club has been involved in various fundraising activities and projects in Nepal and Australia. From raising funds for 2010/2011 Queensland floods to helping underprivileged kids get back to their education in rural Nepal, the club has been working in all sectors ranging from health, sanitation, education, poverty alleviation, rehabilitation, disaster recovery to clean drinking water and social awareness.
